This recipe was originally created for our sister website, Living Well Spending Less, and has been a grilling favorite for years. With minimal ingredients, this low carb beer can chicken is one of the easiest recipes that gives the chicken just the right amount of spice and a ton of flavor.
Don’t worry about the beer adding extra calories or if you don’t have beer on hand. You can use any canned drink ie: soda or sparkling water, since this technique is just providing moisture and allows the legs of the chicken to cook closer to the heat source which in turn allows the breast meat to cook slowly, minimizing moisture loss. The end result is a flavorful, juicy, and delicious chicken dinner that everyone will love.
